They take place
every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The time-trial location is on Soldier
Springs Road.
The 8-mile out-and-back time trial on Soldier Springs starts about 1/2
mile south from its intersection with Skyline Drive, at a bank of
mailboxes across the street from RTC. There is no parking permitted at RTC
due to liability issues. If you drive to the time trial, please park your
car on a nearby public street. Better yet, leave your car at home and warm
up by riding your bike to the start.
Please note: Everyone participating in more than one time trial
must be a BikeNet member. You may participate in only one time trial as a
nonmember guest of BikeNet. Please send in your membership application
(with waiver) prior to showing up for the time trial, or fill out the
application and waiver and bring them to the time trial (along with
membership payment -- cash or check). The waiver form you submit with your
membership will be kept on file during 2007, and you won't have to fill
another one out until you renew your membership in 2008. |
