Barrows, an honorary member of BikeNet and one of the best cyclists ever
to hail from Wyoming, after spending most of 2006 season racing for Agisko-Dart-Cycling.tv,
a British team based in Italy, he is now riding for Rite Aid Pro Cycling

Announces 2008 Roster

Wayne, Pennsylvania – Rite Aid Pro Cycling presented by Shebell & Shebell
embark on their third year under the Rite Aid banner with a new presenting
sponsor and another exciting international roster - five returning
veterans and six new young rising talents. The team finished the 2007
season with 17 wins, 38 podiums and was the 8th ranked UCI America Tour
team, 2nd of all of the US teams.
Leading the returning riders is Jake Rytlewski, winner of the 2007
Fitchburg Longsjo Classic, 9th in the US Pro Criterium Championships, and
17th at the US Pro RR. Also returning is Stephan Kincaid, A US Olympic
track team alternate who saw 11 podiums in 2007, 4 of them for victories.
Clayton Barrows
also returns. One of the stongest men in the pro peloton with extensive
European experience including the Tour of Britain, Clayton garnered 5 wins
in 2007, including three stages of the Tour of Ephrata. Bill
Elliston returns as senior member of the team. Bill has raced for three
pro squads in his career, which includes over 35 victories. He will be
invaluable in schooling the new young riders and, as a USA Cycling trained
coach, works with the squad throughout the season.
New as a Pro to the team this year, but in his second year racing the US
circuit is Guido Palma. At the ripe old age of 20, Guido has raced with
J.J. Haedo of CSC and Alejando Borrajo of Colavita and has international
experience racing against some of the best Pro Tour riders. Richard Geng
joins the team as a 2nd year Pro. Richard raced with Heinz vo Heiden.
Focus in 2007, a European Continental team. He is a multiple Berlin
Champion on the road and track. In 2007 he had the Sprinter’s Jersey at
the Sachsen-Tour 2.1, a race whose Top 5 included riders from Rabobank,
CSC, Astana, Milram and T-Mobile. Also new to the team is Bobby Lea, a
World Track Team member and current US National Madison Champion. In 2007,
Bobby rode for Toyota United, garnering 11 podiums and 6 wins. He is an 8
time US National Track Champion and a 5 time Junior National Track
Champion. Robbie King, a rider for Priority Health in 2007, is a former US
Collegiate National Champion. Injured for much of 2007, Robbie still
managed to finish 10th at the US Criterium Championships, KOM at the
Tobaggo Cycling Classic and 4 other podium finishes. Miles Watson (NZ) won
the Sprint Championship at the Tour of Murray River. In 2007 he led the
Points Competition and the KOM at the Southland Tour, and was as high as
10th in GC and 3rd in the U23 category. Also joining the team is Jonathan
Erdelyi, a seasoned pro, who is one of the best tacticians in the peloton.
Jonathan excels at hard one day events. Rounding out the squad is Al Arnal,
a time trial specialist. Al missed winning the National Time Trial
Championship by .5 sec in 2007, finishing second. In only his 4th season
of racing, Al garnered 5 TT victories in 2007.

The Rite Aid Pro Cycling team has strengthened it's team
for 2007, signing is Alejandro Barrajo, a rider from the Miche team, who
garnered seven top ten finishes in the 2004 Giro d' Italia, including a
third place to Alessandro Petacchi in stage 6, and also took second place
to Eric Zabel in the 2005 Rund um den Henniger Turm. The Argentinian's
most recent result was a win in the 2006 South American Road Championship
this past November.
